EVENING WITH THE STARS-- November 4, 2011 from 6-9 PM

Our annual fundraiser that showcases our talented student stars with carnival fun and silent auction is just around the corner!! Our teachers and administration do an amazing job of stretching limited budget dollars to enhance our learning environment here at Pin Oak.  Unfortunately, our funding only goes so far. To continue to provide unique performance and academic opportunities for our students, we rely on our parents and and corporate friends for financial support.  For instance, did you know that the Fine Arts department must raise the majority of its operating budget ($75,000)?

Students, Faculty, and Parents make this an awesome WHOLE FAMILY EVENT!! It is a great time to celebrate our outstanding students and get to know the rest of the Pin Oak Community.

Also as part of the POMS 10th Year Celebration, there will be an Alumni Welcome Area for former teachers, principals and students in the Library at EWTS on Nov 4th. Come see old friends, meet new ones and see what Pin Oak has accomplished in the last 9 years.

If you are an Alumni or know an Alumni, we would love to invite you/ them to come to EWTS for this special presentation and/or to let us know 'WHERE YOU ARE NOW." Click HERE for a form to send in. Alumni that check in at the welcome are will get a chance to win a raffle basket.

You Can Help Make Evening With The Stars a Success! How Can You Help? 

Volunteer!!  Would you like to help with event setup or volunteer at the event??  It is a great way to not only meet new people but also to help ensure that the night is a rousing success.  We still need lots of volunteers – please help if you can! 

Host a Sociable!!  Are you looking for a fun way to meet more people?   Host a fabulous party to raise money for Pin Oak!!  Now is your chance to get involved and give back to the school!
  
Donate an Auction Item!!  We are looking forward to having the best silent auction ever to benefit our terrific school.   To make that a reality, we are currently looking for donations of all sizes for our auction. 
EWTS is the major funding raising event for POMS and all contributions are 100% tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Please consider sponsoring a booth for EWTS. The underwriting levels are $25, $50 or $100. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and directly benefit Pin Oak Middle School. If you would like to be an underwriter, please fill out the form (found by clicking HERE) and return it with your check to Suzanne Rose at 3716 Harper St., Houston, Texas 77005.  All checks should be made payable to Pin Oak PTO.

Deadlines for Auction Donation and Sociables are Approaching Fast! All donations must be received by October 24th.
